Luke Abercrombie, Head of Technology at Transurban in Queensland will present on how technology is Keeping Brisbane Moving. Luke will discuss the automation revolution coming to the mobility and transport sector which is set to dramatically change how we travel in the future.

About Transurban
As more and more Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAVs) appear on our roads, transport operators will have more and more opportunities to use this technology to everyone’s advantage.

As a first step to preparing Australia's roads for a CAV-driven future, Transurban has been running a series of trials on motorways to investigate how they respond to road infrastructure (such as signs, lines, signals and ramps).

From this unique perspective, Luke will discuss the benefits of implementing full managed motorway technology to upgrade motorways, including the option for express lanes in SEQ and insights into parking trials for Connected and Automated Vehicles.
